Short History of Eileen West Gallery
The first EWG was in Point Washington FL. The historic B&B Cash store owned by Randy Horton became a remarkable gallery space. Shows we did in that old wooden building are still remembered and spoken of in reverent tones. The Nude Show of Feb 2005 is legendary. There were no live nudes, they had on body suits, but outraged letters the editor claimed otherwise. Perfect.
Our second gallery space was in Ruskin Park at Seaside were we had BIG fun for 5 years. So many wonderful shows, so many wonderful artists. During that time we also opened another gallery in Ruskin Park, Van Gogh's Ear. Primarily it was studio and exhibit space for Beau Bradbury.
Shows in this space were very well recieved. Beau did some incredible work during this time.
We also opened a space on Central Square in Seaside.
SO MUCH FUN! We only had a short lease but we made the most of it.
Then we moved to the other side of Central Square.
And the last incarnation of the gallery was 121 Central Square Seaside FL
